Six months ago I launched StartUp KickStart as an expansion of Snowed Under Solutions.
It was a culmination of my experience starting and running Snowed Under Solutions.
I vested in it the work and interaction I had with other business owners and the interest I had from those who also wanted to make a life change.
At this key time in the business, I have used it is a trigger to celebrate everything that has been achieved – the launch, the journal, the website, a growing international interest, the followers and supporters.
I’ve also used it as a time for a business checkup, assessment and change.
Too often in business we get caught up working in our business, instead of on it. This leads to stress, reduced productivity, family issues, lack of innovation and interest in the business you once were so passionate about.
Part of my process included reviewing the website for StartUp KickStart. I also called in an expert to provide some independent feedback. It is very easy to become too close to a project. Sourcing a fresh perspective is always a good idea, especially when it is from someone who doesn’t have a vested interest. Choose someone who won’t tell you what you want to hear and who hasn’t formed an attachment to the ‘old’ version.
I followed the steps and advice I provide to other business owners. This way I guarantee I am personally factored into my vision and goals, and my businesses are aligned with them.
Make sure you don’t get lost in your business and that stagnation hasn’t set in – it isn’t pretty in ponds, humans or business!

Wishing you all the best, no matter what stage you’re at with your business.
